Congratulations to the winners in the Sister Schubert’s On a Roll Recipe Contest

Just this morning, I had the privilege of calling to congratulate the winners in our On a Roll Recipe contest. Talking to these wonderful cooks was almost as delightful as tasting their quick and delicious recipes.

Special congratulations go to Grand Prize Winner Nadine Mesch of Mt. Healthy, Ohio. Her Upside Down Banana Pecan French Toast recipe is truly the most mouthwatering French Toast I’ve ever tasted.

Nadine won a much-deserved suite of Frigidaire Professional Series kitchen appliances, and each of our first-prize winners will receive $1,000 in cash.

Teresa Porter of Concord, N.C., won first prize in our Breakfast & Brunch category for her scrumptious Berry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake.

In our Anytime Snacks category, Mary Leverette of Columbia, S.C. won first prize for her delectable Walnut Asiago Bites.

Patricia Gonatos of Palm Harbor, Fla. took the Holidays & Parties first prize for her tasty Sun-dried Tomato and Artichoke Party Cups.

And in Everyday Meals, Lily Julow of Gainesville, Fla. won the prize for her savory Scalloped Chicken and Mushroom Bake.

It was a real challenge to choose our winners from more than 1,300 other entries, but in the end, these five rolled to the top of the list.
