Nora Ephron and Ed Levine Enjoy a Taste of Sister Schubert’s Biscuits and Rolls

Sister Schubert’s has gone Hollywood! Or at least, our rolls and biscuits have been tasted by Nora Ephron, the writer, producer and director of some of our favorite films. We can’t wait to see her latest, Julie and Julia, which intermingles stories about two women’s adventures with food.

It was such a pleasure to learn that Nora enjoyed our creations almost as much as we enjoy hers. Do note that the caveat about “pre-baked” products doesn’t apply to most Sister Schubert’s products, which are only partially baked. This allows families to warm and brown the rolls at home – maintaining the homemade taste and quality of my grandmother’s heirloom recipe. Only the 10-count dinner and wheat yeast rolls are pre-baked.

Also, our distribution network continues to grow. Our Parker House rolls are distributed nationally through Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores. They are also widely available at grocery chains throughout the South as well as in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri and Ohio.
