Winner of Sister Schubert’s Memorable Holiday Moments Contest Sets Goal of Matching $5,000 Donation to North Fulton Community Charities Food Bank

A few weeks ago, I met Heidi Britz, winner of the grand prize in the Sister Schubert’s Memorable Holiday Moments Contest, when I presented her prize on CBS morning show “Better Mornings Atlanta.” You can see the check presentation on our video page.

It was a real pleasure to talk to Heidi about the inspiration behind her heartwarming winning story and learn of her plans to take her mother and sisters in law on her grand prize vacation to the Riu Palace Mexico resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Although Heidi was thrilled to win the vacation, she was just as excited to have a chance to donate $5,000 to North Fulton Community Charities, which operates a food bank and strives to prevent homelessness.

Heidi has been personally involved with this organization, and winning our contest inspired her to do even more. She has set a goal of matching the $5,000 donation by summer.
