Correction

Even sparkling diamonds have their flaws and it appears we have discovered one of ours. It has recently come to my attention that my new cookbook contains a misprint in my most beloved “Everlasting Rolls” recipe. Where the recipe calls for 5 eggs, it should call for only 2. We have printed stickers to accompany each copy of the book that will correct this mistake. If you have previously purchased a copy of the cookbook and you would like to have a complimentary copy of this sticker, please contact us at 334.222.2265. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused my loyal fans and readers. I greatly appreciate your kindness, understanding and continued support.
Happy Baking!

Sister Schubert’s Parker House Style Yeast Rolls now available in convenient mini-pans
Sister Schubert’s Homemade Rolls was founded on the idea of making it easier for families to enjoy the taste and quality of homemade baked goods at their everyday meals.
Recently, some of our loyal customers have written to say that a full pan of 16 Sister Schubert’s Parker House Style Yeast Rolls is a little too much of a good thing for their small households or for portion control at everyday meals.
In response, we’ve created our Parker House Style Mini Pans. Each package includes two, 8-count aluminum plans of our Parker House Style Yeast Rolls, which I’m proud to say are the number-one selling frozen yeast rolls in the country.
These new mini-pans allow singles, light users, small families and empty nesters to enjoy the homemade taste of fresh baked goods while baking just enough to serve at a single meal.
Look for Sister Schubert’s Parker House Style Mini Pans in your grocer’s freezer alongside our other great biscuits, dinner and breakfast rolls. Like all of our products, they are made with wholesome ingredients like fresh milk, eggs and butter – and never any artificial flavors!

Sister Schubert shares Thanksgiving recipes in new book, Web site
One of my favorite holidays is almost here! Great food and family gathered together create truly memorable holiday moments.
I am grateful to have come from a long line of great cooks. Grandmothers, aunts, sisters and cousins shared cherished family recipes and handed down the secrets of great cooking to each new generation.
One of those recipes – my grandmother’s Parker House Style Yeast Rolls – became the foundation of Sister Schubert’s Homemade Rolls. From the beginning, I’ve considered it an honor and a privilege to bring the homemade taste and quality of her “Everlasting” yeast rolls to families across the country.
Today, I’m excited to share even more of my family’s cherished recipes in my new book, Cast Your Bread Upon the Waters, which tells the story of how I founded Sister Schubert’s Homemade Rolls. Proceeds benefit Sasha’s Home in the Ukraine.
You’ll also find some of my favorite recipes on the SisterSchuberts.com Web site, including these Thanksgiving classics:
- Start the day with Sister Schubert’s Cinnamon Bread Pudding, made with Sister Schubert’s Cinnamon Rolls, or Sausage Roll Breakfast Casserole, made with Sister Schubert’s Sausage Wrap Rolls.
- Flavorful, tender and moist, Sister’s Cornbread Stuffing can be prepared inside the turkey or as a side dish.
- Brown sugar and pecans add a crunchy top to Sweet Potato Pie – a creamy Old South favorite.
- Leftovers are another Thanksgiving tradition. Enjoy these simple but savory Turkey Rolls using Sister Schubert’s Parker House Style Yeast Rolls or go Italian in Stuffed Shells with Turkey.
While you’re on our Web site, please take a few moments to enter our Memorable Holiday Moments Contest. You could win a $5,000 vacation and give your community a reason to be thankful through a $5,000 donation to a local food bank.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Sister Schubert Shares Hearty Fall Recipes at National Harvest Festival in Branson, Missouri
Isn’t autumn a wonderful time of year? There’s so much to appeal to our senses. We’re invigorated by cool days and crisp nights. The turning, falling leaves weave red-and-gold tapestries across the horizon and lay rustling patchwork quilts beneath our feet.
All of this awakens a hunger for hearty comfort food, which always tastes better with homemade yeast rolls or another homemade bread.
Missouri’s Ozark Mountains offer spectacular fall scenery at every turn. So you can imagine my excitement about heading to Branson for a guest cooking appearance at Silver Dollar City’s National Harvest Festival.
On October 24th and 25th, Chef Debbie and I shared secrets of great home-style cooking and baking through two complete menus – “Cowgirl Cuisine” and “The Great Chili Roundup.”
We made my Sister’s Southern Cornbread to accompany the meals, and Sister’s Cinnamon Bread Pudding for dessert. This quick and delicious bread pudding recipe is made with Sister Schubert’s Cinnamon Rolls.
I also signed copies of my new book, Cast Your Bread Upon the Waters, which contains both recipes.
If you’re looking for more inspiration for hearty fall meals, take a look at George’s Chili, a family favorite created by my husband, and my recipes for Chicken Pot Pie with Bread Topping and Chicken and Sausage Gumbo.

Sister Schubert’s Fall Appearance, Book Signing Tour
Over the past few weeks, I’ve traveling across the South and the Midwest to promote our Memorable Holiday Moments contest and my new book, Cast Your Bread Upon the Waters. I thought you might be interested in a few highlights.
My first book signing on Sept. 24 at The Buttercup gift shop in Charlotte, N.C. was a huge success. We sold the store’s entire stock of 144 books and had to order more. My hand was stiff at the end of the day, but it was such a joy to speak with everyone who came to buy a book. The Charlotte Observer carried this nice story, “Baking company’s founder is on a roll.”
The next morning, I joined On a Roll Contest Winner Mary Leverette on WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C. for a chat about her wonderful Walnut Asiago Bites recipe, made with our wonderful Clover Leaf Style Dinner Rolls.
On October, 9, I shared the spotlight with Hoffman Media Editor-in-Chief Phyllis Hoffman, HGTV’s Erica Glasener and TLC’s Laurie Hickson-Smith as a headline speaker at the 7th Annual Southern Lady Celebration in Savannah, Georgia, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Southern Lady Magazine.
On October 14, I was interviewed by WTVY-TV at my book signing at Vino Vino Marketplace in Dothan, Alabama. I also taped an interview for an upcoming episode of the Ann Varnum Show.
It’s such a joy for me to share the Sister Schubert’s story, my recipes and our great contests. Many thanks to our loyal customers and employees for making my dreams come true. I hope to see many of you as I travel around the country.
Until next time,
